DIRTY SKIRTY is very proud to announce that their third album will be released in 2024. A total of 18 songs are 100% written and 6 songs are recorded. The band is consistently booking studio time at Martell Studios to bring you THE BEST rock n’ roll album you have heard in the last ten years.
We are in a time where FM radio waves play nothing but recycled classic rock at best. The attention span of most young people can’t get them through much past a 15 second video clip. We are in an era where the music industry has turned upside down and rock n’ roll is now underground. DIRTY SKIRTY calls upon fans of real music from around the planet to join the band to celebrate the anticipation of this album. Are you ready?
The personnel for the release features band founder Luke Stephens at the helm on lead vocals showcasing better singing than ever and stick it to ya lyrics that are sure to bring out your inner wild. Stephens founded the band in 2007 in Tallahassee, FL along with drummer Shannon Stovall.
Shannon Stovall returns on the drum kit bringing his swing to the band like he has for over 15 years. Guitarist/producer Stan Martell returns for his second go as Skirty’s secret weapon with harmonies that are on point point and solos that melt faces.
On bass, guitar, & backing vocals DIRTY SKIRTY now features Cesar Pentzke. Pentzke brings a songwriting partner in crime that Stephens hasn’t had since the first album. Pentzke has been successful as a singer/songwriter and guitar player in many pop/punk bands over the years especially in his bands Oh Romeo! and Grounds.
It is yet to be known whether live show members Carson Wayne or Christian McClure will appear on the album.
There is no release date slated for 2024 yet, but the album will be titled ACES IN YOUR FACES. It will feature at least 12 tracks of in your face rock n’ roll! With songs such as Hot Love, Fire, & Fuct the band promises it to be their best yet.
